In botany, an evergreen is a plant that has leaves in all four seasons, always green. This contrasts with deciduous plants, which completely lose their foliage during the winter or dry season. There are many different kinds of evergreen plants, both trees and shrubs.

Quehanna wild area has quickly turned into one of my favorite posting areas as of late.  And for good reason.  In the past 2 trips I’ve covered some 40 miles of roadway.   And about 1/10th of a mile of non road surface.  This picture is again from Wykoff Run Natural Area and it has an Evergreen tree as a focal point within the image.  Its just another photo that stands on it’s own.  I hope you enjoy.
