So summer in PA is supposed to be 80s, 90s and not so humid with some thunder storms rolling in every now and then. However this year it has rained quite heavily almost ever week since spring. The one 2 week period it didn’t rain the temps went up into high 90s and a lot of grass went brown. Which was then followed by Louisiana size rain storms and localized flooding. From a photographer’s perspective this has been a very poor season when placed against my time frames and work flows. This weekend thing seemed to straighten themselves out. The rivers are still really high but the temps settled down and the sun came out. So it was time for a simple practice flight.
Nothing more needs to be said. The picture speaks volumes.
